Shipping & Returns Policy
Last Updated: May 2026
This Policy details the precise terms, conditions, geographical boundaries, and financial obligations concerning the fulfillment, physical delivery, and return protocols of goods purchased through the Kaccha Papad platform. Given the perishable, consumable, and hygienically sensitive nature of our proprietary food products, we strictly enforce the terms enumerated herein. By executing a purchase transaction, the customer unequivocally assents to these stipulations.
Part I: Shipping & Fulfillment
1. Geographic Limitations of Fulfillment
Kaccha Papad operations and logistical infrastructure are currently restricted to a specific jurisdictional and geographical scope. Delivery services are exclusively available within the municipal boundaries of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. We strictly prohibit and automatically void any transactional requests mandating delivery to inter-city, inter-state, or international jurisdictions.
2. Processing, Dispatch, and Transit Timelines
Upon the successful authorization of payment and systemic confirmation of an order, the Company endeavors to process and dispatch the goods expeditiously. The standard transit duration from the point of dispatch to the destination address within the permitted jurisdiction is estimated to be between two (2) to four (4) business days.
These temporal estimates are contingent upon standard operational conditions and exclude Sundays and gazetted holidays. The Company shall not be held liable for any unforeseen delays resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control (Force Majeure).
3. Shipping Tariffs and Financial Obligations
A flat-rate logistical surcharge (Shipping Fee) of ₹50.00 INR is levied upon every discrete delivery transaction, irrespective of the total volumetric weight or cumulative financial value of the order.
The Company retains the unilateral right to conditionally waive this surcharge under specific promotional campaigns (e.g., offering "Free Delivery"). Such waivers are temporary, discretionary, and do not constitute a permanent alteration to the foundational Shipping Fee.
4. Transfer of Title and Risk of Loss
All purchases of physical items from Kaccha Papad are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier or at the moment of physical handover at the designated delivery address.
Part II: Returns & Refunds
1. Absolute Exclusion of the Right of Return
By finalizing a purchase, the customer acknowledges and assents to our policy that we do not accept returns under any conditions. Following the successful physical handover of the goods at the specified delivery address, the transaction is deemed irrevocable with respect to the return of the physical product. This protocol is mandatory to comply with overarching food safety and hygiene regulations.
2. Absolute Prohibition on Monetary Refunds
Kaccha Papad operates under a strict and unconditional no-refunds mandate. We shall not authorize, execute, or process any monetary reimbursements, chargebacks, or credit reversals for completed orders. This limitation applies universally, regardless of the payment methodology utilized (e.g., Credit Card, UPI, Cash on Delivery).
3. Sole Remedy: Emergency Replacement Protocol
In the highly isolated event of a catastrophic fulfillment error—specifically defined as the delivery of an incorrect manifest (wrong item) or goods that arrive demonstrably compromised (severe package damage)—the customer's sole and exclusive remedy shall be the authorization of a product replacement.
- Notification Window: The customer is legally bound to formally notify our customer support apparatus within twenty-four (24) hours (1 day) from the precise timestamp of documented delivery.
- Evidentiary Burden: The customer bears the burden of proof and must submit clear, irrefutable, and unedited photographic or videographic evidence substantiating the claim of defect or mis-delivery.
- Discretionary Authorization: The Company's adjudication panel will rigorously evaluate the submitted evidence. The authorization of a replacement dispatch remains at the absolute and sole discretion of Kaccha Papad. Claims lacking compelling forensic evidence shall be summarily dismissed without recourse.
